LOSE WEIGHT WITH MORNING RITUALS
1. GET A GOOD NIGHT'S SLEEP!
Our morning tip no. 1 starts the night before: make sure you get the best night's sleep possible. Sleeping less than 6 hours or more than 10 hours puts the body in a state of stress. The resulting increase in cortisol levels in the blood slows down fat burning and all other metabolic processes in the body. This makes it difficult to lose weight.
2. MAKE YOUR BED!
Yes, mom was right back then when she said: "Child, make your bed!" What does this have to do with your figure? Scientists from the US Sleep Foundation found that people who make their bed in the morning sleep more restfully. And as mentioned earlier, good sleep is an important prerequisite for losing weight. Incidentally, the better you sleep, the less likely you are to have food cravings.
3. OPEN THE BLINDS AND WINDOWS!
Does getting up every morning feel like wandering around on a ghost train? Change it: open the curtains, raise the blinds - and open the windows wide! Let fresh air and daylight into the bedroom. This gets your metabolism going! And if it's still dark outside, turn on the lights. The main thing is to "light up" your morning!
4. DRINK A GLASS OF WATER!
Even if you've heard it a million times before: Drink a large glass of water straight after getting up, preferably lukewarm! This stimulates the circulation. It also flushes waste products out of the body more quickly and stimulates the digestive system.
