A study in the "Journal of the International Society of Sports Nutrition" helped raspberry ketones achieve a breakthrough as a diet aid. In a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study with 70 overweight people, the role of raspberry ketones, among other things, was investigated as part of a calorie-reduced diet over 8 weeks. Successes with raspberry ketones have been reported from Columbus/Ohio. An experiment was published in the "Journal of Life Sciences" which showed that raspberry ketones help to reduce body fat. Three groups were tested. The test subjects who took high doses of raspberry ketones lost a noticeable amount of body fat (0.575% in three weeks). The test subjects who were given less raspberry ketones lost a little body fat (0.375%). Incidentally, the placebo group (without raspberry ketones) gained weight.
