Collagen (collagen hydrolyzate) is a protein, or more precisely, the most common protein in our body - it makes up around 30% of all proteins and 7% of body weight.
Collagen is the most important supporting protein. Collagen fibers are found in all the major organs of our body, as they are secreted by the cells in the connective tissue (the tissue that holds all the organs of the body together). Collagen fibers have an enormous tensile strength and are hardly stretchable. The dense winding is decisive for the high tensile strength of collagen fibers: they can absorb tensile forces that are 10,000 times their own weight.

Hyaluronic acid
Hyaluronic acid is a substance produced naturally in the body and is the main component of synovial fluid. It surrounds all joint surfaces and cartilage like a liquid cushion. The bones glide accordingly when the joint is in motion without rubbing against each other.
