Cookie Policy
You can change the cookie setting to determine whether you consent to the use of cookies and similar technologies for analysis and advertising purposes.
In order to make our website as user-friendly as possible, we, like many other companies, use cookies and similar technologies.
Cookies
Cookies are small text files that your browser automatically creates and that are stored on your end device (e.g. laptop) when you visit our website. Information is stored in the cookie that results in each case in connection with the specific end device used. However, this does not mean that we obtain direct knowledge of your identity. The use of cookies serves to make the use of our offers more pleasant and more suitable for you on an ongoing basis.
- For example, we use session cookies to recognize that you have already visited individual pages of our website. This allows you, for example, to add individual products that you find on our website to your shopping cart without having to create a customer account or be logged into one. The session cookies are automatically deleted after you leave our website.
- In addition, we also use so-called permanent cookies for the purpose of user-friendliness, which are stored on your end device for a certain specified period of time. As soon as you visit our website again, it is automatically recognized that you have already visited us and which entries and settings you have made so that you do not have to enter them again. The temporary cookies are deleted after 24 hours at the latest.
- In addition to our own cookies, we also use cookies from third-party providers (so-called third-party cookies) to statistically record the use of our website and to evaluate it for the purpose of optimizing our offer for you and to display information and advertising specifically tailored to you. These cookies also enable us to recognize that you have already visited our website when you visit it again. These cookies are automatically deleted after a specified period of time. The individual third-party cookies of the third-party providers that we use are explained in more detail in the following points.
Similar technologies
Similar technologies are technologies that enable us to track your usage behavior. On the one hand, this is done by means of shared local objects or local storage functions such as Flash cookies, HTML 5 cookies and other web application software methods that store data in your browser or on your end device. On the other hand, technologies are also used that do not store data locally on your device and instead make use of browser functions, for example. This creates a "fingerprint" of your system, which serves as a unique identifier (so-called fingerprinting). These technologies can work across all your browsers and in some cases are not fully managed by your browser, but may need to be managed directly by your installed applications or device. We sometimes use the terms cookies and similar technologies interchangeably.
Legal basis and your choices
Most browsers accept cookies automatically. However, you can also set your browser so that no cookies are stored on your device or a message always appears before a new cookie is created. In your cookie settings, you also have the option of deciding for yourself which non-technically necessary cookies you want to accept and which you do not. You can change these settings at any time and also deactivate previously activated cookies at any time and thus revoke any consent you have given. This makes the use of cookies transparent for you. Please note, however, that deactivating certain cookies or deactivating cookies completely may mean that you will not be able to use all the functions of our website to their full extent.
The processing of the personal data collected by means of cookies, which are necessary for the provision of our services, is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 f) GDPR to safeguard our legitimate interest in the trouble-free provision of our services on our website. Otherwise, we only process your personal data in connection with cookies (in particular for analysis and advertising purposes and in connection with the third-party providers described below) if you have given us your prior consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 a) GDPR. The processing is carried out for the purposes of advertising, market research and the needs-based design of our website.
Which selected service providers we work with and which selected tools we use
a) Google Analytics (with anonymization function)
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC, Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA ("Google Analytics"). We use Google Analytics to analyze and regularly improve the use of our website. We can use the statistics obtained to make our offer more interesting for you as a user. Google Analytics uses methods, such as cookies, which enable us to analyze your use of the website. The information generated about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. By activating IP anonymization on this website, the IP address is shortened before transmission within the member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. Google will use the information collected to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide us with other services relating to website activity and internet usage. The anonymized IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.
We also use the technical extension "Google Signals", which enables cross-device tracking. This allows an individual website visitor to be associated with different end devices. However, this only happens if the visitor has logged into a Google service when visiting the website and has also activated the "personalized advertising" option in their Google account settings. Even then, however, no personal data or user profiles become accessible to us; they remain anonymous to us.
Further information on your rights as a data subject, including the right to withdraw consent, can be found in our data protection information. You can also find further information on setting and objection options and on data protection at Google as a whole in Google's general data protection declaration at https://policies.google.com/privacy.

Even then, however, no personal data or user profiles are made available to us; they remain anonymous to us.
If you do not wish to use "Google Signals", you can deactivate the "personalized advertising" option in your Google account settings.
b) Google Ads
We also use the online advertising program Google Ads from Google ("Google Ads") and conversion tracking to measure the effectiveness of individual ads, offers and functions. For this purpose, a cookie is placed on your device as soon as you click on a Google ad. This cookie is not used for personal identification, but is intended to determine whether you return to the website with the specific offer during the 30-day validity of the cookie.
Every Google Ads customer receives a different cookie. Cookies can therefore not be tracked via the website of Google Ads customers. The information collected using the conversion cookie is used to generate conversion statistics for Google Ads customers who have opted for conversion tracking. We find out the total number of users who clicked on an ad and were redirected to a website with a conversion tracking tag. The data collected in this way is generally only transmitted to Google servers in the USA in anonymized form and stored there.
We only use Google Ads in connection with your personal data if you have previously given us your express consent, which is the legal basis for the use of Google Ads in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 a) GDPR. You can decide for yourself about the setting of cookies as described above in your cookie settings on our website and, in particular, deactivate previously activated cookies and thus revoke your consent. You can also deactivate the setting of cookies altogether in your browser settings. Your personal data collected in connection with Google Ads will be deleted or anonymized after 14 months (in relation to the IP address) or one month (in relation to cookie information).
You can set the information that Google uses to display advertising at the following link from Google https://adssettings.google.com/. Alternatively, you can deactivate cookies on the Digital Advertising Alliance website at the following link https://optout.aboutads.info/ or on the Your Online Choices website at https://www.youronlinechoices.com/de/. Further information on your rights as a data subject, including the right to withdraw consent, can be found in our data protection information. You can also find further information on setting and objection options in Google's privacy policy for advertising at https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads and on data protection at Google as a whole in Google's general privacy policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy.
c) Facebook Custom Audience
We also use the Facebook Custom Audience service of the social network Facebook, which is operated by Facebook Inc, 1 Hacker Way, Menlo Park, CA 94025, USA, or, if you are based in the EU, by Facebook Ireland Ltd, 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland ("Facebook"). Facebook Custom Audiences ("FCA") is a Facebook service that allows us to create customer lists and place ads (including pop-ups and frames) directly on your Facebook page. The Facebook ads placed by us are thus only displayed to Facebook users who have also shown an interest in our online offering or who have certain characteristics (e.g. interests in certain topics or products determined on the basis of the websites visited), which we transmit to Facebook. We ensure that our Facebook ads correspond to the potential interest of users. With the help of FCA, we can also track the effectiveness of Facebook ads for statistical and market research purposes by seeing whether users were redirected to our website after clicking on a Facebook ad (so-called "conversion"). However, Facebook does not have access to the information we share about you. As part of our marketing efforts, we may also use your email address to upload it to Facebook Any email address we upload is hashed and only the hashed data is sent. The hashes are used to identify you and are then discarded.
This procedure is only permitted with your consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 a) GDPR. You can revoke your consent here at any time with effect for the future.
The specific processing purposes and an explanation of the data protection responsibilities can be found in the Terms of Use for Facebook Business Tools ("Facebook Terms"). If we are solely responsible for the processing of your personal data (including its transmission to Facebook) in accordance with the Facebook Terms (i.e. if Facebook provides us with matching, measurement and analysis services), Facebook acts exclusively on our behalf on the basis of a corresponding order processing agreement (so-called Data Processing Terms together with the Facebook EU Data Transmission Addendum). However, if we are jointly responsible with Facebook for the collection and transmission of your personal data to Facebook in accordance with the Facebook Terms (i.e. in particular when processing data about your use of our services for the purposes of targeting our advertisements, improving them and measuring the success of our advertisements), the subsequent processing of the data by Facebook as an independent controller is the sole responsibility of Facebook.
We have concluded a joint controllership agreement with Facebook in order to define the responsibilities for the fulfillment of data protection obligations with regard to joint processing. According to this agreement, Facebook is responsible for guaranteeing the rights of the data subjects with regard to the personal data stored by Facebook following joint processing. We are responsible for providing the above information to the data subjects. For more information on how Facebook processes personal data - including the legal basis on which Facebook relies and the options for exercising data subjects' rights vis-à-vis Facebook - please refer to Facebook's privacy policy.

Data is stored in order to create user profiles and use them for the purposes of advertising, market research and/or the needs-based design of online content. Such an evaluation is carried out in particular (even for users who are not logged in) to display needs-based advertising and to inform other users of the social network about your activities on our website. You have the right to object to the creation of these user profiles, whereby you must contact Facebook Ireland to exercise this right. The legal basis for us is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR.
We agree that only Facebook Ireland can make and implement decisions regarding the processing of corresponding data collected via the Instagram fan page. Facebook Ireland decides at its sole discretion how to fulfill its obligations under this data. We agree that Facebook Ireland is the main establishment in the EU for the processing of such data for all data controllers. We also acknowledge that the Irish Data Protection Commission is the lead supervisory authority for this processing.
If a data subject or a supervisory authority under the GDPR contacts us regarding the processing of such data and the obligations assumed by Facebook Ireland (each a "Request"), we are obliged to provide Facebook Ireland with all relevant information without undue delay and at the latest within 7 calendar days. We will use reasonable efforts to cooperate with Facebook Ireland in responding to any such Request. We are not authorized to act or respond on behalf of Facebook Ireland.
